Its fair to say from years of video game playing, that when I think of zombies, I recall them being after brains. In Plants. vs. Zombies, they are after your plants, to then go after your brains. I was babysitting my favorite 10 year old video gamer and he introduced me to this simple flash game he downloaded.
Its similar to the Tower Defense games in the sense that you are protecting your "home", which is your backyard. Your weapons against the zombies are plants with special power ups against certain kind of zombies. One could spend hours planting obstacles against these funny looking zombies. Its one of those games you tell yourself "I'm only going to play a level" but next thing you know, you have a butt imprint on your chair! Each level progresses with persistant zombies and stronger plants that the player has to utilize to survive the zombie attack in a certain amount of time!
At first, I thought I was the only person over 10 that played this game. Sufficed to say, this week I found a handful of people my age that play as well!
Have you played Plants vs. Zombies? Have you ever felt silly for playing a game you thought was for kids?

Hah! I have played this game as well... don't feel bad. It is very addicting... much like the majority of other games for kids.
