I think about my mother in law who just got laid off this year and had a tooth infection. She struggled to get it fixed because she has no benefits. When my boyfriend was working, a huge portion of his check would go to insurance, but he paid so much out of pocket for his prescriptions. Meanwhile, mine are free of charge, because I am under my mothers plan and she is a nurse. Strange how 3 people have different situations based on their personal circumstances.
