  • Three Free Summer Weekends at National Parks


    Looking to find some adventure this summer? Can’t afford a wild vacation in Costa Rica? If you’re looking for something free to do this summer, consider visiting a local national park. The National Park Service is opening their doors to over 100 parks free of charge for 3 selected weekends this summer.

    This includes well known parks such as Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. During rough economic times when vacations are being cut short due to high gas prices and expensive air flights; a simple walk in the park could be a fun activity for anyone. Have a family picnic, go on a challenging hike or camp out and spend the night in the wilderness. The options are infinite! The free weekend covers entrance fee’s only. Other excursions, camping reservations and concessions are not included.

    The free weekends are:
    • June 20-21, 2009 (Father’s Day weekend)
    • July 18-19, 2009
    • August 15-16, 2009
