I’m happy to say I am a new proud owner of the Apple I-Phone. As my one month anniversary of having this phone comes up, I was checking out my bill and freaked out when I saw an overage charge of 720 text messages. My heart sank when it said I would be charged 10 cents per extra text, which would be a whopping $72.00.
Now what? Often we’ll put it off at 11:30pm and just worry about it later. Others might disregard the problem and just pay the extra overage and blame themselves for it. Not me! I was told that sending text messages to other ATT wireless phones would be free of charge. With midnight quickly creeping, I called Customer Service and explained my situation. I refused to pay extra overage charges for something that I was told wrong. Being a new customer from a different cell phone service made me vulnerable to these changes that I was wrongly informed about.
Luckily, I was able to come to an agreement and Customer Service understood and switched me to an Unlimited Text Message Plan. Thank goodness! It pays to always read between the lines and understand your phone contract. If anyone ever has a problem you should absolutely speak your voice! There is always money to be saved if you ask questions, settle that dispute and prove your point!
